- I started my soy candle and home fragrance company in 2001. I wanted to work for a company that was fun and where it was okay to laugh. So began Scents Of Humor. And, since it was my company, I decided to give myself some cool titles, CEO, CIO, COO, CMO, FW, DP and PCL. For those that are wondering what some of the initials mean; besides the obvious; I am also the factory worker, delivery person and Polish Cleaning Lady. I originally had visions of grandeur, believing that you would be able to find Scents Of Humor products in department stores throughout the US. And that the name Scents Of Humor would roll off everyone's lips when they thought of candles and home fragrances. Well, that didn't happen and now I'm over myself! But, I do have my products listed on Amazon.com which is a start. I love what I do and I hope that my customers love my products.
