Scents Of Humor

January 10th 2008- Today I received the most beautiful gift you can possibly imagine from my "Scented Santa" and the soldiers who received the Scents Of Humor gifts that I sent over the holidays.

Honestly, I was brought to tears, my chest was bursting with pride and I was overwhelmed by the honor they bestowed upon me for this simple act of kindness.

I scanned everything and couldn't wait to post the pictures. (The flag was just too big, LOL). Rest assured that I will be displaying these items proudly in my home!

I was reading the http://www.anysoldier.com/ site and it broke my heart that there are soldiers fighting bravely for our country who do not receive mail or packages from home. And, I thought, my goodness, how selfish of me. So this year I felt that it was high time to get off my butt and do something that would not only make me feel good, but perhaps make others feel good as well. So, I adopted a soldier; well not literally adopted, but I asked her to act as Scented Santa for me. She was nice enough to agree to distribute the items that I sent her for this Holiday Season. Below are some of the pictures that were sent to me from the soldiers that have received Scents Of Humor gifts.

I would ask each and every one of you to say a prayer for our soldiers that they remain safe and come home soon. I would also urge you to look deep into your heart and look at the http://www.treatanysoldier.com/ website and order something for our soldiers. They have a variety of items that the soldiers would love to receive. Of course, you can also go to http://www.scentsofhumor.net/ and http://www.scentsofhumor.com/ and order something for the soldiers. I will make it my mission this year to send goodie packages to more of our soldiers. Who knows, I may just adopt a slew of them and have a franchise of Scented Santa's throughout the world!
